Clear Volume Scale
Blue markings let you follow the white piston as you inhale.
Visual Guides
Separate indicators show inhaled volume and inhalation flow.
Batteries Required
Simple manual operation for your prescribed breathing routine.
Two Indicators. Two Different Jobs.
LARGE CHAMBER
White Piston: Volume
The white piston rises as you breathe in. Read its position against the mL scale to observe the volume of your inhale.
SMALL CHAMBER
Yellow Indicator: Flow
The yellow indicator responds to inhalation flow. Follow the device instructions to guide your breathing pace, rather than trying to raise it as high as possible.
Measure Your Post-Op Progress
Observe your inhaled volume during each session and record readings if your care team asks you to. Bring those observations to your healthcare provider when discussing your breathing routine.
Your goal is personal.
5,000 mL is the scale maximum, not a target everyone needs to reach. Your clinician should set your goal. A reading alone does not measure your overall recovery.
Designed for Your At-Home Routine
Flexible Tube & Mouthpiece
Bendable blue tubing helps you position the mouthpiece while keeping the spirometer upright.
Clear Housing & Built-In Handle
View both indicators through the clear housing and use the integrated handle to hold the device during practice.
A Simple Breathing Routine
Sit Upright
Keep the device upright and check that the tubing and mouthpiece are connected.
Breathe Out
Exhale normally away from the mouthpiece before starting your next inhale.
Inhale Slowly
Seal your lips around the mouthpiece. Breathe in slowly and deeply while watching the indicators.
Pause & Rest
Hold as directed, remove the mouthpiece and exhale. Rest between breaths and follow your prescribed schedule.
Follow your device instructions and care team’s guidance. Stop and rest if you feel dizzy or lightheaded. Contact your provider if symptoms persist or you experience pain or breathing difficulty.
Care & Storage
Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions for this model. Do not assume the chamber can be submerged, boiled or placed in a dishwasher.
Keep the device for one person’s use. Store in a clean, dry place and check for damage before use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I breathe in or blow into it?
Breathe in slowly through the mouthpiece. This device provides feedback during inhalation.
What number should I aim for?
Ask your healthcare provider to set your goal. You do not need to reach the 5,000 mL scale maximum.
How often should I use it?
Follow your clinician’s instructions for the number of breaths, rest periods and frequency of use.
Does it measure blood oxygen levels?
No. It provides visual feedback during breathing exercises. It does not measure blood oxygen or replace diagnostic lung-function testing.
Can I include it in a recovery care package?
Yes, when breathing exercises have been recommended by the recipient’s care team. Confirm that it is appropriate for their individual recovery plan.
Important: Use as directed by your healthcare provider. This breathing exercise device does not replace your post-operative care plan, a medical assessment or prescribed treatment.
